Veganism is the best thing you can do for yourself, for the animals and for the planet! In one week I will be fifty-two years of age. I have three grown children and seven grandchildren. I've never been more confident or felt better in my life! I have more natural energy than I did when I was twenty years old. I competed in my first competition and won the first and third place in the NPC Women's Figure Competiton. There's just something satisfying about knowing you can refrain from causing harm to the animals and the environment just by choosing to do something as simple as making a lifestyle change by making better food choices, by deciding no harm to any living creature for your own or anybody else's entertainment. I'm not suggesting you go vegan just to lose weight, remember, it's a lifestyle. Just the benefits alone are enough to make anyone consider going vegan. My BMI (Body Mass Index) dropped to 19%, something I tried for years to accomplish and couldn't. Some research has linked vegan diets with lower blood pressure and cholesterol, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some types of cancer. So if you're contemplating going vegan, let me encourage you to just do it! You can't help but win! Come on, You got this!
